IBRO Partnerships: outreach, engagement and diversity

IBRO works with partners around the world to raise public awareness of the importance of the brain and promote inclusive, equitable neuroscience.
ALBA Network

As a founding partner along with FENS and SfN, IBRO helped to establish the ALBA Network in 2019 to support and encourage diversity and equity in neuroscience. Through the ALBA Network, IBRO supports programs aiming to facilitate discussions about issues facing neuroscientists globally, and the best ways to address them, as well as providing networking and mentoring opportunities for scientists from underrepresented groups.
