IBRO and Wellcome are delighted to announce a new upcoming funding opportunity, the Neuroscience Capacity Accelerator for Mental Health! 

This international, collaborative capacity-building program, due to be launched on 10 September 2023, will focus on support for neuroscience research for Anxiety, Depression and psychosis, with teams to be led by researchers from Low- and Middle- Income Countries. Over a 6-9 month period, grants will serve to facilitate networking activities, the exchange and development of new projects and ideas, the generation of pilot data, the development of plans for collaboration with Lived Experience experts, and the preparation of research proposals. Awardees will also take part in an exciting program of professional development activities, including an in-person event at an international scientific conference.
