About Brain Awareness Week

Brain Awareness Week is a global campaign to foster public enthusiasm and support for brain science. Every March, participants host imaginative activities in their communities that share the wonders of the brain and the impact brain science has on our everyday lives. Brain Awareness Week is coordinated by the Dana Foundation.

About the IBRO/Dana Brain Awareness Week grants

The IBRO/Dana Brain Awareness Week grants aim to educate the public about the benefits of neuroscience research and increase awareness about the wonders of the brain by increasing opportunities for outreach and awareness campaigns in regions challenged by a lack of resources, support, and/or public understanding about the brain. The grants are generously supported by funding from the Dana Foundation.
