IBRO is thrilled to announce a 60% expansion of the IBRO/Dana Foundation Brain Awareness Week grants program in 2024! The increased grant from the Dana Foundation will extend the global impact of the program and enable the funding of even more outreach and engagement activities taking place between 11-17 March 2024 in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and the US/Canada. About Brain Awareness Week
Brain Awareness Week is a global campaign to foster public enthusiasm and support for brain science. Every March, participants host imaginative activities in their communities that share the wonders of the brain and the impact brain science has on our everyday lives. Brain Awareness Week is coordinated by the Dana Foundation.
About the IBRO/Dana Brain Awareness Week grants
The IBRO/Dana Brain Awareness Week grants aim to educate the public about the benefits of neuroscience research and increase awareness about the wonders of the brain by increasing opportunities for outreach and awareness campaigns in regions challenged by a lack of resources, support, and/or public understanding about the brain. The grants are generously supported by funding from the Dana Foundation.
