IBRO-APRC Ulaanbaatar Associate School on Fundamental Techniques in Neuroscience
The goal of the school is to equip participants with basic techniques in neuroscience. Apart from laboratory technique modules, students will receive exclusive lectures on cellular, systems, and clinical neurosciences. After completing this school, participants should understand the fundamentals of neuroscience and be able to practice western blotting, perfusion, staining, and microscopy techniques. They should be more motivated to conduct research in neuroscience by ensuring a high neuroethical standard.

The aim of this IBRO-APRC School is to provide extensive knowledge on further understanding neuroscience especially neurogenetic disorders using online advanced techniques that will provide insight into the functioning of normal and diseased brains. Participants will receive theoretical knowledge on karyotyping, immunohistochemistry, and neuroinformatics. The School will feature didactic lectures, plenary lectures, and small group discussions.

This IBRO-APRC Georgian Associate School of Neuroscience invites MDs, Masters, Ph.D. students, postdoctoral fellows and young faculty members in the Asia-Pacific region to provide them with a 5-day opportunity to gain some basic to advanced knowledge in the area of neuroscientific research with lecturing and virtual workshops. The key areas which are going to be mainly addressed will include behavioral, cellular & molecular, and electrophysiological methodology in neuroscience.
