The International Brain Research Organization provides travel awards for the Canadian Association of Neuroscience (CAN) meeting to promote the participation of students and post-doctoral fellows that are part of under-represented groups and that come from small Canadian universities (non U-15 universities).
17th Canadian Neuroscience Meeting
The 2024 Canadian Neuroscience meeting will take place in beautiful Vancouver at the Westin Bayshore Hotel between 19-22 May 2024. The Canadian Neuroscience meeting is a great opportunity to present your work, learn about new cutting-edge research and network with neuroscience leaders from Canada and abroad.

IBRO Travel Awards
The International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) provides travel awards for the CAN meeting to promote the participation of students and post-doctoral fellows that are part of under-represented groups and that come from small Canadian universities (non U-15 universities).
There is a single application form for travel awards.
Submission deadline is 31 January 2024.
The dollar amount of individual awards is based on a sliding scale depending on on the distance of required travel. Travel awards covers up to 50% of the cost of attending the meeting. Remaining funds should be leveraged from other sources.
