The aim of this IBRO School is to provide graduate students, trainees and early career faculty from the Latin American Region with state-of-the-art tools for the study of neurotransmitter transporters in health and disease.
About the School
This advanced school will take place in the Department of Toxicology of Cinvestav in Mexico City. Eighteen students from the Latin American Region will engage in an intensive hands-on training on the study of neurotransmitter transporters in functional and structural assays.
Who should apply to this School?
Advanced PhD students, postdoctoral fellows and early stage faculty (less than 5 years after PhD) within Latin America.
What costs will be covered for selected participants?
A maximum of $200 US dollars will be allocated to each accepted participant for airplane tickets. Housing will be provided while the participants are expected to cover their meals and purchase health insurance.
