The primary objective of the school is to provide young nanoneuroscience scholars with in-depth knowledge about the role of nanomedicines in the treatment of neurodegenerative disorders. This will be achieved via instruments demonstration, live experimentation in the adult zebra fish, and lectures on state-of-the-art advances in nanoneurotherapeutics-based drug delivery to the brain.

About the School

The pharmaceutics department at the ISF College of Pharmacy, Moga has a strong base in nanomedicines-based drug delivery and wishes to spread this knowledge and train budding nanoneuroscience scholars in the areas of drug delivery science and technology along with neuroscience. The school will include theoretical lectures, practical demonstrations and oral presentations by participants. The latest advances in the field of neurotherapeutics for the management of neurodegenerative disorders will be explored through scientific lectures from eminent speakers. Participants will also learn about ethical principles during a special lecture on ethics in biomedical research.

Who should apply to this School?

Scholars (postgraduate and PhD) working in areas of neuroscience related to drug delivery, brain targeting and in-vivo evaluation of herbs and drugs in neurological disorders from all institutions within the APRC region.

What costs will be covered for selected participants?
