The goal of the school is to provide intensive and immersive training in neuroscience with a particular focus on modern state-of-the-art technologies. Our goal is to empower participants to approach neuroscientific inquiry using the most advanced and appropriate technologies available. The school teaches concepts and methodology at the forefront of modern neuroscience. The participants will receive knowledge through lectures, demonstrations, and group discussions.
About the School
The school will be held at Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT). One of the largest neuroscience-focused research institutes in China, the Brain Cognition and Brain Disease Institute (BCBDI) at SIAT was established 5 years ago. Currently, there are more than 60 independent research groups working in the broader neuroscience area, with experts working with state-of-the-art technologies including molecular and cellular neuroscience, neural circuity, electrophysiology, imaging, and behavioral and neural computation. This school will be an excellent opportunity for young neuroscientists to discuss with experts and learn advanced research technologies.
