NERKA7 Mechanobiology

International Biophysical School “Academician Radoslav K. Andjus” (NERKA) was established in honor of Professor R.K. Andjus (1926-2003) an internationally recognized scientists from the University of Belgrade, a member of Montenegrin and Serbian academies of sciences and arts and one of the founders of Institute for Marine Biology in Kotor.
The School is traditionally organized by the Biophysical Society of Serbia with support of International Union for Pure and Applied Biophysics (IUPAB), Biophysical Society, European Biophysical Societies’ Association (EBSA) and International Brain Research Organization (IBRO).
Each school has a different theme, and thematic objective of this school is to cover topic of mechanobiology from ion channels to biomaterials in animal and plant systems, as well as to introduce student to biophysical techniques of analysis.
