IBRO-ARC Women in Neuroscience Symposium

It has been observed that women are underrepresented in neuroscience, as well as in leadership. Mentorship remains a singular avenue to facilitate climbing the academic ladder faster. The IBRO-ARC Women in Neuroscience symposium would be an opportunity to discuss and brainstorm on issues hindering women from fully participating in brain research and to proffer possible solutions and guidance to unleash their potential in African and globally. This gathering will provide an avenue to recruit and promote women pursuing career prospects in the field of neuroscience.
