Advances in Translational Neuroscience: Focus on Neuropsychiatric Disorders and Neurodegenerative Diseases

The symposium is organized by the Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto at the University of São Paulo (FFCLRP-USP) and the Behavioral Neurosciences Institute (INeC) in conjunction with International Brain Research Organization – Latin America (IBRO-LARC) and São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).
This symposium aims to cover current topics in translational neuroscience related to schizophrenia, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease and Huntington’s disease and provide an opportunity for students, postdoctoral and scientists working in related areas to learn about the field. Speakers will discuss the importance of using rodent models of brain diseases to understand the underlying human condition. It comprises of:
