The aim of this school is to educate African trainees and early career researchers in how to measure cognitive impairment and dementia in all contexts.

About the School

This in-person meeting and training course will provide a forum to discuss risk factors and the increasing burden of vascular and neurodegenerative diseases including HIV Dementias in the context of incidence and prevention in cross-cultural populations in Low and Middle Income Countries compared to Europe, North America and Japan. The emphasis is particularly on how we measure cognition in the elderly and implement neuropsychometeric tools.
