IBRO-APRC Travel and Short Stay Grants 2018

This grant supports combined trips of applicants currently working in APRC countries to attend neuroscience meetings in other APRC countries and visit a laboratory in the country where the meeting is held.

Eligibility:
a) The candidate must attend a neuroscience meeting organized by an IBRO member society and make a presentation at the meeting.
b) The trip should be in a different country from the one in which the candidate is currently
working.
c) The letter of acceptance by the host laboratory has to be included in the application. The host laboratory is expected to cover research costs and bench fees during the visit. It is anticipated that the candidate will use this visit to discuss possible collaborative work or post-doctoral opportunities.

The total support is up to 2,500 USD per person and has to be justified in terms of travel and living expenses (but cannot include research costs or “bench fees”). The trip has to be completed by the end of March 2019.
